ABOUT SINGLES SAILING

The singles sailing trips are not dating / matchmaking trips ! "Mostly singles" sailing trips are designed for people who are travelling solo, or with a friend ... but who don't want to BE alone on their vacation.

These sailing cruises are perfect for sociable, gregarious folks who enjoy being with a small, fun group of fellow adventurers. One of the greatest things about a sailboat is how fast you get to know your new crewmates - the usual "social barriers" vanish within hours, and many people end up with longterm friends from meeting on our trips.

"Real" age is less important than age-between-the-ears on these trips - attitude is what counts most ! The most common age range is around late 20s-mid 40s; but there are plenty of older folks who've had the greatest get-up-and-go spirit to add to the group!

WHY "MOSTLY" SINGLES SAILING?

We sometimes get couples who love the active, get-out-there spirit of these trips..., and they want to come too ! One of the most fun things about these trips is the strong group dynamics that tend to develop... one has to put more energy into getting to know new people if you're travelling alone. So if you're travelling with a partner, but thinking "hey, that sounds like us - we'd like to be part of a fun group, not to be all smoochy and exclusive ?"... you're very welcome too.

So here are the initial "mostly singles" dates. More may be added in the coming months, as these trips seem to increase in popularity every year! - so do chec kby email or call us for the current schedule.

• The above prices are all per person, based on a shared double cabin. Pls note that most trips have an embarkation time of 11am on day 1; disembarkation is 9am on day 7 for 1wk trips, 9am on day 14 on 2wk trips.


• 2 wk itineraries are always arranged such that it's easy to join for just the 1st or 2nd week. Occasionally, there is an exception to this on some of our combo Greece AND Turkey trips- a few are reserved for folks who want to do the full 2wks.


• Price includes help-yourself breakfasts, lunches, drinks, open bar & snacks; all boat expenses (water, fuel, mooring, etc); skipper; sailing instruction if desired.
  
• Accommodation is mostly in shared double cabins. There is no "single supplement" - but if you particularly would like a double cabin to yourself, we can sometimes offer this at 1.5 times the regular price. Please check with us on the particular dates to see if this is option is available.
