We help you choose from the myriad of wondrous places to experience and we work within the constraints of your budget. We can provide hotels simple or deluxe and always they will be clean and interesting. The following are suggestions only:

The following are several sample itineraries to get you started thinking:

- 7. Do we want to spend some time on the water - i.e. sailing or cruising - Or would we rather island hop by ferry or short flights?

| Day 1 | U. S. - Istanbul |
| Day 2 |
Arrive Istanbul and transfer to your hotel in the Sultanahmet section of
of Istanbul. Here you will find restored Ottoman houses, charming hotels
down tiny streets and even the elegant 4 Seasons housed in an aged prison. Or,
you may wish to try the luxurious Swishotel Bosphorus or the elegant
Ciragan Palace. The choice is yours.

| Day 3 | A full day of private sightseeing visiting Topkapi, the Blue Mosque, Ayasofya, The Cisterns and more. Lunch will be included at Topkapi, overlooking the Bosphorus. |
| Day 4 | Another day of sightseeing. Today try a cruise on the Bosphorus, a visit to the spice market and the Grand Bazaar. |
| Day 5 |
Enjoy a relaxing morning on your own in Istanbul and take a midday flight to
Izmir, where you will be met and transferred to the lovely coastal town of
Kusadasi. Here we love to use the welcoming Kismet Hotel. This evening
enjoy wandering the streets of Kusadasi - great place for shopping.

| Day 6 | With your guide you will spend a full day visiting Ephesus, the most spectacular of the many ancient Greco-Roman ruins along the coast. Your day will conclude at the carpet factory of a friend where you will be introduced to what many consider to be the real treasure of Turkey. You may wish to spend the evening in the courtyard of a 13th century caravanserai, dining under the stars as dancers entertain in the moonlight. |
| Day 7 | After a leisurely breakfast overlooking the blue Aegean, you will visit the traditional Turkish village of Sirince, in the hills beyond Ephesus. Here you will surely be invited into a private home for tea. This afternoon spend on your own and perhaps try a hammam - a Turkish bath. |
| Day 8 | Depart this morning for the several hour, very scenic drive to the stunning white town of Bodrum with its beautifully preserved crusader castle. Stay at the charming Antique Theater, on the hill overlooking the sea. |
| Day 9 |
Today join other visitors for a day cruise on board one of Bodrum's beautiful gulets, the handcrafted wooden vessels that cruise the Turkish coast. You will
want to return to spend a full week on board!

| 15 DAYS - ISTANBUL / ANKARA /CAPPADOCIA /PAMUKKALE /KUSADASI / EPHESUS | |
| Day 1 | U.S. to Istanbul |
| Day 2 | Arrive Istanbul and transfer to your choice of hotels. We usually prefer to use one of the charming, small establishments in the Sultanahmet area, near Topkapi, Aya Sofya and the Blue Mosque. |
| Day 3 | A full day of sightseeing with your own guide. Today you will tour on foot visiting the many beautiful sites in this, the oldest section of the city. |
| Day 4 | Another full day of sightseeing as you take a morning cruise along the Bosphorus and an afternoon visit to some of the famous bazaars and market places. This evening board a sleeper train for the overnight journey to Ankara, the country's sophisticated capital. |
| Day 5 |
You will be met at the station bright and early in the morning and with your
private guide will visit one of the world's great collections, the Anatolian Civilizations Mueseum, and the Mausoleum of Ataturk, the father of modern
Turkey. In the afternoon make the several hour journey through the countryside
to Cappadocia, one of the most fascinating regions in all of Turkey. Here
you may wish to stay at the wonderfully romantic Ataman Hotel, nestled
amidst the fanciful rock formations of the Goreme Valley.

| Day 6 | Spend the day visiting the valleys, carved churches and small villages of this traditional region and in the evening be entertained by beautifully costumed dancers and musicians in one of the several nightclubs carved deep into natural hillsides. |
| Day 7 | Leaving Cappadocia, visit one of the many incredible undergournd cities and continue your drive to Konya, home of the legendary Whirling Dervishes and the Mevlana Museum. You'll get a very different view of Turkey in this conservative city. |
| Day 8 | Today's drive is lovely, as you journey through an area often called the Switzerland of Turkey, for its resemblance to the Alps. In the late afternoon you will arrive in Antalya, where you will stay in a charming, atmospheric hotel within the walls of the old city. |
| Day 9 | Today visit several of the important ruins that sit but a short distance from the town. Choose from Aspendos, Perge, Termessos, Phasillis. |
| Day 10 |
Another day to finish your visit of Antalya and the many beautiful sites nearby.
Perhaps you will want to spend the afternoon simply strolling the streets of the
old town.

| Day 11 | Today make the beautiful drive up the coast to the villages of Kas or Kalkan. Relax and stop where you wish as the drive along the sea is very special. |
| Day 12 | This morning, weather permitting, take a boat ride over an underwater city offshore, and in the afternoon continue your drive to Marmaris or Fethiye, both interesting and lively towns along the coast. |
| Day 13 | Today another several hour drive takes you through farmland and coastline to beautiful Kusadasi, gateway to Ephesus. You will arrive in plenty of time to enjoy the afternoon visiting the shops, strolling the harbor. |
| Day 14 | Conclude your whirlwind tour with a private visit to Ephesus, the most spectacular of all the ruins along the Turkish coast, and enjoy lunch in a friend's carpet gallery amidst a wonderful selection of some of the finest carpets in the world. |
| Day 15 | Return to the U.S. |
